Senior Consultant
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Noah W. Wenger joined Versant as a senior consultant following a 30-year legislative career that culminated as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
A longtime champion of agriculture, environmental and rural initiatives, Wenger brings solid relationships and keen insight into how processes of policy work in the General Assembly, as well as the executive branch.
He was instrumental in nearly all of Pennsylvania’s important agricultural legislation in recent years, including the state’s farmland preservation program and its successful crop insurance program.
He served for 22 years on the Chesapeake Bay Commission and is a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the Northern Lancaster County Sportsmen’s Association. Wenger comes by his understanding of agricultural issues as the owner of a 107-acre Lancaster County livestock and poultry farm.
